Gang of Witches is a queer-feminist, fluid dance collective initiated by Livia Rita, focused on experimental movement practices stemming from contemporary dance and embodied research.
The collective explores transformation through improvisation leading to collective choreography, and non-human-centric approaches. Its practice is grounded in curiosity towards other bodies and forms of existence.
Working between individual exploration and collective processes, Gang of Witches develops new movement languages.
It positions dance as a space to rethink identity and ways of co-living with our surrounding environment.
